There’s a lot to celebrate across the Hot Springs School District!

The newly released Arkansas school letter grades show exciting progress across the HSSD. Every school earned a C or higher, and every school increased its academic achievement score.

Park Magnet jumped from a C to an A, Main Street moved from a D to a B, and Langston improved from a D to a C.

We’re also celebrating Arkansas Gem recognition! Main Street and Hot Springs World Class High School were named Arkansas Gem Schools, while Langston earned recognition for Growth by Content Area in mathematics.

We’re proud of the progress happening across the HSSD and grateful for the students, teachers, staff, and families who make it possible. To learn more, click here.

Monday Kicks Off Spirit Week with Parade

Homecoming Spirit Week is here, and we’re kicking things off Monday, Sept. 21, with our Homecoming Parades!

Our elementary parade begins at 9 a.m. at the Park Magnet/Main Street Visual & Performing Arts campuses. Oaklawn STEM and Langston students will be bussed over to join the fun. The parade will begin and end on Skypark Drive next to the MVPA Band Room. Families and community members who would like to watch can gather along the sidewalk and parking lot across from MVPA and Park Magnet.

At 9:40 a.m., our secondary students take over. The HSWCHS/HSJA parade route is different from last year, so please note the changes. This year, the parade will travel behind the Junior Academy and through the back parking lot near the tennis courts. The holding area will be the upper parking lot near the HSJA Arts Wing.

We can’t wait to see our students, families, and community come together to kick off a fun week of Homecoming celebrations. If you can't make it to the parade, we'll go live on Facebook Monday morning. Just go to the District's page: https://www.facebook.com/hotspringsschooldistrict/.

Spirit Week Set for Sept. 21 - 25

Get ready to show your Trojan spirit! 🖤💛 Spirit Week is September 21–25, and each day brings a new chance to join the fun—from Anime Day and Pirates & Princesses to dressing for the wrong occasion and going Disney! We’ll wrap up the week by showing everyone that the Heart of the City Beats Here with a district-wide pep rally and Homecoming festivities on Friday. Let’s make it a week full of creativity, school spirit, and Trojan pride!

HSDT Yard Sale and Vendor Fair - Oct 9-10th

Do you have some fall cleaning to do? Do you have a pile of unwanted treasures sitting in your garage or basement? Donate them to our HSDT Yard Sale and Vendor Fair! You can bring items anytime between 8-4:30 Monday-Thursday between now and then. If you have bigger items, just let me know and we can arrange a time.

We are also looking for vendors for Saturday, Oct. 10th. All vendors keep their proceeds and only pay a table/space fee and donate one item for our Nutty Nutcracker Silent Auction.
