We hope all of our HSSD families have a safe, relaxing, and meaningful Memorial Day holiday tomorrow. ❤️💙 We’re down to the FINAL 8 DAYS of the 2025-2026 school year, and there is still so much fun ahead! 🎉 From elementary graduations 🎓 and exciting field days ☀️ to the always-popular Battle Royale on Tuesday 💥, it’s going to be an unforgettable finish to another amazing year in the HSSD! Let’s finish strong, Trojans! 💛🖤

Elementary Graduation Schedule

It's an exciting time at the Hot Springs School District! It's time to recognize the Kindergarten and Sixth-Grade students as they prepare for milestones of their own. Here is the schedule for the upcoming elementary graduations across the District.

Langston Elementary Leadership Academy
>6th Grade Graduation: May 28, 9 a.m.
at Joyce L. Littleton Craft Auditorium
>Kindergarten Graduation: May 27, 9 a.m.
at Joyce L. Littleton Craft Auditorium

Main Street Visual & Performing Arts Magnet School
>6th Grade Graduation: June 3, 9 a.m., at Joyce L. Littleton Craft Auditorium
>Kindergarten Graduation: June 2, 9 a.m., at MVPA

Oaklawn STEM Magnet School
>6th Grade Graduation: May 29, 9 a.m., at Joyce L. Littleton Craft Auditorium

Park Magnet, an IB World School

Summer Meal Schedule

The Hot Springs School District food service provider, Chartwells, will offer FREE, fresh, and tasty grab-and-go meals every Monday - Thursday from June 15 - July 16. Meals are FREE for children 18 years and under. Adults can purchase a meal for $4, but must be accompanied by a child.

The locations and times are:

  1. Park Magnet, 617 Main Street - 11 am - Noon. Families can take the food out or eat in the cafeteria.
  2. Walmart Neighborhood Market, 1544 Malvern Ave. - 11 - 11:30 am

Summer Clothes Needed

Help Our Trojan Families Stay Cool This Summer!

The Welcome Center, which serves all families of the Hot Springs School District, is in need of summer clothing for children! We’re collecting summer clothing, shoes, undergarments, and hygiene products to support students in our community.

Special Alert

Special education records are securely maintained for 6 years after a student graduates or leaves the district. After that time, they are destroyed in a confidential manner. The Hot Springs School District will destroy confidential special education records for the 2019-2020 school year. Records are available to the student or parent (if the student is under 18) by request. Please call 501-623-7421 or email hughesk@hssd.net to make arrangements to pick up the files by July 17, 2026. These records are not permanent school records containing grades and grade levels, as those will be maintained by the district.
