🎉 We’ve got an exciting week ahead, April 6–10, and it all kicks off with the Garland County Reads Block Party 📚✨ Get ready to celebrate our amazing students at awards ceremonies at Langston Elementary and Park Magnet 🏆, enjoy incredible creativity at the High School Art Show & Awards 🎨, and cheer on our athletes with lots of spring sports action ⚽🏃‍♀️ There’s something happening every day, so come out, get involved, and let’s make it a fantastic week—because in HSSD, every day counts!

Join Us at Garland County Reads Tomorrow

Come join us at the Garland Country Reads Block Party tomorrow, April 6. The HSSD book bus will be there, so come out and pick out a great new book and play a game. This event is free and will also feature food and other fun activities.

When: Monday, April 6 | 5:30 - 7 pm

Visual Arts Exhibition & Awards Show

Join us for a night of creativity, talent, and celebration at our Visual Arts Exhibition & Awards Show!

Wizard of Oz Set for April 16 - 18

Join the 7-12 Trojan Theatre students for journey down the Yellow Brick Road. This year's Spring Music is the classic Wizard of Oz and you won't want to miss it!

The Welcome Center, which serves all families of the Hot Springs School District, is in need of summer clothing for children! We’re collecting summer clothing, shoes, undergarments, and hygiene products to support students in our community.

Twelve of our talented Hot Springs School District Choir students have earned a spot to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York on June 29, 2026, under the direction of Dr. Nick Farr!

Langston Elementary Needs Your Shoes!

Langston Elementary is collecting shoes to help support its clubs and Parent-Teacher Organization. All shoes, new or used, are needed. They can be any style and any size.

Shoes can be dropped off at Langston Elementary, located at 300 Silver Street, or email Jessica Jeffers at jeffersj@hssd.net to arrange pickup.
