HSSD Enrichment Grants

With great partnership from the district and generous support from alumni across the state, the Hot Springs Public Schools Education Foundation has made wonderful progress in identifying specific ways to enhance HSSD initiatives.

Through the first ever HSSD Enrichment Grants (in 2019), the Foundation is directly supporting the initiatives of Hot Springs educators and helping to enhance the programs that students care about. The grant application period was open from May, 2019 – August, 2019. The HSPSEF Foundation Board selected the following 11 HSSD projects and programs as the first ever Enrichment Grant recipients, and awarded each with funds at the October 15, 2019 HSSD Board Meeting:

We need your help! As we approach 2020, we hope to begin raising funds for a first-ever Top 40 Academic Banquet in the Spring and more HSSD Enrichment Grants for the 2020-2021 school year. The Top 40 Academic Banquet is a formal dinner event where our Top 40 students by academic order are invited each to bring two family members and one educator that has impacted them the most throughout their educational journey. This Banquet would be unlike any other in Garland County, and could help us to celebrate and honor our students and our educators. We will also re-open another cycle of HSSD Enrichment Grants in May of 2020, which we hope to make even larger than this year.  Learn more about how to donate, here.
