The mission of the Hot Springs School District is to educate and empower each student to graduate from high school college and/or career ready, respect diversity, and to be contributing members of a global society.

  • Support District Infrastructure including a rotational maintenance plan and a 1:1 mobile device program for grades 2 - 12.
  • Ensure that all educators are proficient in the use of integration of technology and ongoing professional development activities are provided.
  • Improve student academic achievement through the use of technology in elementary and secondary schools. 


  • HSSD will ensure that all facilities support the educational needs of students, staff, and the community.


  • Ensure that the HSSD can adequately meet the needs of district initiatives now and in the future.


  • Provide information through multiple channels and platforms that ensures the safety of students and personnel.
  • Create consistency among schools and district communications and communications resources regarding the use of language, the formatting of content, the distribution of information, the use of logos and other school brand representation, and the implementation of protocols for engaging with internal and external audiences.
  • Promote the mission and vision of the Hot Springs School District, and the missions and themes of individual schools, to build credibility and brand recognition among community stakeholders and media partners.       
  • Ensure that parents, students, and internal personnel are as informed as possible about changes and announcements, opportunities, events, and success stories for the district in a timely, consistent, and accurate way.
  • Work with community, district, regional, and state partners to promote the Hot Springs School District brand and highlight brand success stories through memberships, participation, and general engagement.


  • HSSD will have policies in place to ensure safety to all stakeholders.
  • HSSD will have a quality safety training program for all staff and students.
  • Ensure students, parents, and staff feel safe at HSSD.
