The HSSD will utilize an AMI Day on Thursday, 2/24/2022 due to impending inclement weather and dangerous road conditions. This means that HSSD schools will be closed tomorrow, but students were sent home with work OR learning will take place virtually.

With any questions, families please contact your teachers on 2/24 between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. via email or other designated classroom platforms.

AMI Days (Alternative Method of Instruction Days) are approved by the Arkansas Department of Education and count as instructional days.

The HSSD will update all families again tomorrow about whether classes will resume at schools as normal on Friday, February 25, OR if another AMI Day will be utilized due to continued dangerous road conditions.
