We will continue to provide FREE meals to all Trojan students in the 2020-2021 school year, in our cafeterias and at food truck stops across Hot Springs. No matter which Learning Option our students have chosen - Traditional, Blended, or Virtual Learning - we will ensure that all Trojan families have access to free meals.

Students at school will receive FREE breakfast and lunch, every day served by our outstanding food service provider team at Chartwells. In order to provide access to FREE meals to our students who are choosing Blended or Virtual Learning Options, the TrojanEats Food Truck will also provide meals for pick-up at four stops across Hot Springs. Chartwells staff members on the truck will bundle lunches and breakfasts for the next day into bags for pick-up. Families can pick up multiple meals at a time for multiple students. All children 0-18 receive meals at no cost. Meals can be picked up from the food truck at the following times every week day: 10:45 - 11:15 at Family Dollar (899 Park Avenue); 11:30 - 12:00 at Mountain View Heights Apartments (800 Spring Street); 12:15 - 12:45 at Walmart Neighborhood Market (1544 Malvern Avenue); and 1:00 - 1:30 at Family Park (215 Family Park Road). *Please note, meals will be served at no cost to any child 0-18 years old.

Chartwells will not accept cash at any school cafeterias or snack areas this school year. While breakfasts and lunches are free to all Trojan students, those in grades 7-12 at the Hot Springs Junior Academy and Hot Springs World Class High School have the opportunity to purchase additional meals, snacks and between-class beverages. In order to purchase any extras, parents will need to set up an online account to load funds. Chartwells uses the online system “My School Bucks” to collect payments. To set up an account, go to Choose “Sign Up Free.” Then, choose “Arkansas” as your state, and “Hot Springs Public School District,” as your school. At that screen, you’ll be prompted to provide contact information and an account password. After you have verified your information and phone number, the system will prompt you to add students to the account, and then to add funds.
