As part of the American Rescue Plan Act, school districts must post for parents and the general public a summary of the plan for safe continuation of in-person learning and continuity of services. Please note our Trojans Ready to Learn District Support Plan (below) will remain in place for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and summer school sessions. The HSSD Trojans Ready to Learn Committee met on March 31, 2021, and determined one change to allow for the removal of the plexiglass shields on every student desk.
We invite public comment on our plan and will review all comments with the Committee as we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year. Please provide public comments for review by clicking this link.
The Trojans Ready to Learn Plan was developed with input from the Trojans Ready to Learn Committee, and with guidance from the Arkansas Department of Education Division of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Arkansas Department of Health. Trojan families can find detailed information in this plan regarding Safety and Health, Academics, Learning Management Systems, the 2020-2021 School Calendar, Communications and Outreach, Transportation, Contact Information, Details about day-to-day Routine and more. We hope you find this document informative and helpful as you plan for the fall semester.
