The Hot Springs School District - alongside other Garland County school districts - is honored to receive another grant through the Oaklawn Scholarship Foundation Student Wellness Fund, administered by and presented through the United Way of the Ouachitas. These generous funds go to support all students in need across the district, and are used at the discretion of school counselors and district leadership. These one-of-a-kind funds are unlike most grants because they are specifically tied to meeting the needs of students in any way that ensures or improves their wellness - including covering the cost of test fees, hygiene and safety products, utility assistance, school courses, medication and medical attention, food, field trips, clothing, dues and fines, camps, and more.

The HSSD is deeply appreciative of funds that help us to take care of our kids, and provide our counselors with an immediate and direct way to address student needs. Thank you to our wonderful partners, and generous donors at the Oaklawn Foundation and the United Way of the Ouachitas!
