Four #HSSD high school seniors were honored today at a Signing Event in our Mackey Theater, as they signed letters of intent with three Arkansas universities. Congrats to our following students who have achieved athletic and academic excellence in order to receive such promising offers:
- Ramello Cason, to attend Ouachita Baptist University (Arkadelphia).

- Eddie Miles, to attend Henderson State University (Arkadelphia).

- Damain Walker and Deshun Doss, to attend Arkansas Baptist College (Little Rock).

Hot Springs Trojans Football Coach Burnett said, “These guys are up here because they weren't afraid to push the limits, they weren't afraid of a new program, and they weren't afraid of the discipline that we demanded of them.  As a Trojan family, we use football - and all athletic programs - as a tool. A tool to help teach life lessons and prepare us for greatness on and off the field.  We are here to push your kids, and to help them to achieve the highest possible standards in academics and athletics - because that's what will push them to also demand excellence later in life.”

“Students - we encourage all of you, don't get homesick to quickly. Go to college, or to career training of your choice. Learn all you can. And then come back to this community and let's help make Hot Springs a great place, together. We are so proud of all of you," he said.

Joining athletes across the U.S. for National Signing Day, Ramello, Eddie, Damain, and Deshun signed letters of intent with family members surrounding them, and our proud student audience applauding them. The entire Trojan football team also gathered on stage after the ceremony to celebrate the promising future plans of this group.
