June 2017 Update

In just a few weeks we will be welcoming faculty, staff, and students back to campus.  We are working toward having the construction projects at the High School completed by then.  Once completed we will have a road on the west side of the campus which will allow buses to exit the campus at Panama street and ease the traffic flow during peak times—arrival to and dismissal from school.

A second exciting piece will be the new band shell that will house the Marching Trojan Band during our Football Season.

And the final project in our first phase of construction financed by the millage is the visitors’ parking lot which will be paved and lighted for the safety and convenience of those joining us for events at our stadium.

The newest project added to the list of ongoing projects was the Middle School Roof.  Work has begun on this and we hope to be completed with this by late August or early September.  The current roof on the building is more than 25 years old.  The replacement roof will be one that will last the middle school for many years to come.  This new roof will go a long way in keeping the Middle School building safe and dry.

One final project of the summer which has been completed is the renovation of the restrooms at the high school.  All public restrooms on the main campus have been renovated and updated.

We have a lot of things happening within the Hot Springs School District and even more exciting things to come.  We are meeting regularly to finalize the drawings and plans for the new Langston building and the new Junior High.  More information on that will be coming in the coming months.  Thank you for your support of the Hot Springs School District.  Stay tuned!
