Kindergarten
Utilize activities to enhance the total learning process. Develop an understanding of space awareness concepts, sake practices, and sportsmanship. Master basic locomotor and non-locomotor skills. Develop an understanding of body awareness and the importance of exercise. Participate in simple games, physical and movement exercises.

First Grade
Physical Education activities will enhance the total learning process. Apply space awareness concepts, safe practices, and sportsmanship. Recognize and demonstrate non-locomotor and locomotor movements. Participate in simple games and movement activities. Develop an understanding of physical fitness and the importance of a healthy life style.

Second Grade
Participate in physical activities, simple games, and movement activities. Master age appropriate locomotor and non-locomotor skills and combine patterns. Demonstrate sportsmanship and safe practices in physical activity settings and learn the importance of exercise and living a healthy life. Activities will enhance the total learning process.

Third Grade
Understand and demonstrate sportsmanship, safe practices, and strategies used in simple games and activities. Identify and apply concepts that impact the quality of motor skill performance. Master fundamental skills to successfully participate in a wide range of movement activities. Recognize the effects of the benefits from participation in physical activities.

Fourth Grade
Understand and demonstrate sportsmanship, safe practices, rules and basic strategies in modified team, dual and individual sports. Perform a variety of rhythmic activities that relate to movement experiences. Participate in health enhancing physical activity and identify the contributions to a healthy lifestyle.

Fifth Grade
Understand and demonstrate sportsmanship, safe practices, rules and basic strategies in team, dual and individual sports. Perform a variety of rhythmic activities that relate to movement experiences. Benefit from participation in muscular - skeletal and cardio-respiratory enhancing activities and an individual fitness program.
