2008\2009 Cheerleader Fundraiser
Attention Parents and Students: The
2008-2009 HSMS Cheerleading Squad is now selling Pastry Puffins! They
come frozen in 6 different flavors. You can cook them one at a time or
the entire dozen- it's up to you! They are $12 per dozen, and the money
is due when you place the order. All orders will be delivered on May

We Need
Your Help, Parents!
On page 13 of the 2007-2008 Student/Parent Handbook it states that
backpacks and large tote bags are to be placed in the students' locker
upon arrival at school. These items will not be allowed in the
classroom. Hall lockers are available to students during passing time.
Also on page 15 the Handbook states that personal property is the
responsibility of each student. It is recommended that students not bring
valuables to school.
More specifically, personal electronic devices are not permitted on campus
and will be confiscated by the administration. If a student must have a
cell phone, it is to remain turned off and in the student's locker during
regular school hours.
As this has increasingly become a problem this semester, we ask for
parental support. Thank you. |
Early Release Days
Hot Springs School District has scheduled three Early Release days
for the Spring Semester 2008. The students will be released two
hours earlier than the normal time in order for all faculty members
to attend professional development sessions. Each school is planning
appropriate training for the teachers to insure the excellence,
choice, and opportunity that our district strives to provide for all
students.
The Early Release days will be:

Monday, March 3rd
Monday, May 5th |
