This week is Testing Week for grades K-2 ITBS.  The pull-out schedule will not change for Monday and Friday, but will be altered for Tuesday – Thursday. 

(Schedule is listed below on those days.)

Monday –             5th Grade will be coming to the lab from
                              9:00-9:45 (no class scheduled for today)

                              3rd Grade will be coming to the lab from
                              9:45 – 10:30 (no class scheduled for today)                    

4th Grade will be coming to the lab from
               10:30-11:15 (no class scheduled for today)

 

  Counseling Classes will meet in the Technology Lab Today:

        Kindergarten will be coming to the lab from 12:00-12:45                                  (Ms. S. White)

       1st Grade will be coming to the lab from 12:45-1:30 
                              (Ms. M. White)

       2nd Grade will be coming to the lab from 1:30-2:15 
                              (Ms. Tredway)

 

Tuesday – Thursday -         K-2 Iowa Test of Basic Skills Testing

I will be proctoring the administering of the test in Ms. Duke’s First Grade Classroom.

 
Make-up Times for Pull-Outs will occur in the afternoons during these days.  My assigned location / time / and grades are as follows:

Tuesday –             1:00 – 1:45 2nd Grade on the Playground
                              1:45 – 2:30 5th Grade on the Playground

Wednesday -        1:00 – 1:45 Kindergarten on the Playground
                              1:45 – 2:30 3rd Grade on the Playground

Thursday -            1:00 – 1:45 1st Grade on the Playground
                              1:45 – 2:30 4th Grade on the Playground

 

Friday –    Pull-Outs will be back to regular schedules today:

    5th Grade will be coming to the lab from 9:00 – 9:45 
                                 (Ms. Lee)
    3rd Grade will be coming to the lab from 9:45 – 10:30 
                                (Ms. Sexton)

    4th Grade will be coming to the lab from 10:30-11:15 
                                (Mr. Achor)

4th and 5th grade classes will work on their Personal Web Site.  We will work on creating the link pages for “About Me,” “My Family,” “Gardner School,” and “My Interests.”

3rd Grade classes will work on their Electronic Portfolios as scheduled in preparation for Student-Led Conferences and Technology Family Night.  We will continue our work with adding voice files to the various slides in their portfolio.

Prior to completion of Grade 3-5, students will:

1.      Use keyboards and other common input and output devices (including adaptive devices when necessary) efficiently and effectively. (1)

3.      Use general purpose productivity tools and peripherals to support personal productivity, remediate skill deficits, and facilitate learning throughout the curriculum. (3)

4.      Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, Web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom. (3, 4)
