Week: Weekly Rotation Schedule and Lesson Plan Kindergarten, First and Second Grade Lesson Plans: (NO SCHOOL – Monday, January 16) Electronic Portfolios Materials: · Gardner Network Folders · Microsoft PowerPoint · Portfolio Template (K – new template in main folder, 1-2 Personalized Template Saved in individualized folders from the previous year) Lesson Summary: Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade Classes Kindergarten ~ The students will locate the “Kindergarten” folder on the network to open the template for the Kindergarten Electronic Portfolio: Click
Start OR If they
began theirs during the last class session, they will:
Students will then begin OR continue to edit the title information for the main portfolio as well as edit the title page for their grade level. If time allows, record the opening message for their portfolio. If this
is the first time to work on their portfolio: OR if
they have worked on theirs in a previous class session:
1st & 2nd Grade ~ The students will locate their grade level folder on the network to open their own Electronic Portfolio saved from the previous year and/or worked on in previous class sessions. All new students will use the template for their grade level’s Electronic Portfolio in the network folder for their grade level. Click
Start Students will then edit the title information for the main portfolio as well as edit the title page for their current grade level. If time allows, we will work on the recording for the main title page to introduce the portfolio. Once they have completed the editing, they will need to save their work: Click on
the “red X” in the top right corner of the screen

Prior to completion of Grade K-2, students will: 1.
