Electronic Portfolios Materials: · Gardner Network Folders · Microsoft PowerPoint · Portfolio Template (K – new template in main folder, 1-2 Personalized Template Saved in individualized folders from the previous year) 5th Grade Students ~ The students will take a Gardner Student Survey. This survey is voluntary and students answer only the questions to which they wish to respond. The data will be collected and analyzed in preparation for a grant application by the district. 3rd & 4th Grade ~ The students will locate their grade level folder on the network to open their own Electronic Portfolio saved from the previous year. All new students will use the template for their grade level’s Electronic Portfolio in the network folder for their grade level. Click
Start Students will be given the opportunity to “run” their Electronic Portfolio PowerPoint Presentation. They will see how the portfolio will look when viewed by their parents at the “Student – Led Conference” coming up in the Spring as well as any visitors they choose to show it to at the “Technology Family Night” in late Spring. With the time remaining, students will then edit the title information for the main portfolio as well as edit the title page for their current grade level. Prior to completion of Grade 3-5, students will: 1. Use keyboards and other common input and output devices (including adaptive devices when necessary) efficiently and effectively. (1) 3.
