Week Two

August 25-29, 2003

Classes this week will be introduced to the lab and equipment. We will cover procedures, rules, and consequences for class.

Mr. Miller's Discipline Plan

Behavior Rules for Our Classroom:

1. Listen to and follow directions IMMEDIATELY.

2. Raise your hand for permission to speak.

3. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

4. No swearing, cruel teasing, rude gestures, or cheating.

5. Have SUPPLIES and COMPLETED assignments for EVERY CLASS PERIOD.

Discipline Plan for Our Classroom:

When a student breaks a rule:

1^{st Time -}
^{Warning; sign the conduct book

2nd Time -

Time out from the computer; sign the conduct book

3rd Time -

Lose one recess; sign the conduct book; note sent home

4th Time -

Sign the conduct book; note sent home; Principal’s Office}

The students will receive a "Welcome Card" from me.

We will discuss the district and school web sites. We will view their grade level site as well as their teacher's web page. We will discuss my web site as a way of introducing myself to the class.

We will view their web pages from last year and discuss them as a group. We will begin working on new web pages for the 2003-2004 school year to be posted on their class web site.
