Welcome To Ms. Steed's Home Page On The Net!

My name is Linda Steed and I am glad to be working at Gardner Math and Science Elementary School as a Team S Member.  I am a retired teacher from the Pulaski County School District in Little Rock, where I taught first and second grades for l7 years.   I later did long-term substitute teaching in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade. After retiring, I moved to Hot Springs with my husband of 23 years.  We are currently residing in a home on the lake and love Hot Springs.

At Gardner, I am currently working with Ms. Hale's Kindergarten Class.  I love the little ones as you get to experience their joy of learning.  Most of them think I'm "grandma" and that's fine with me.  I love their smiles and hugs every morning! They are learning so much under Ms. Hale's guidance.  It's refreshing and amazing to see them grow and learn new things every day!

Also, I have the pleasure of working with two amazing third grade teachers, Mrs. White and Mrs. Braswell.  We work on oral reading, writing sentences and book reports.  Like myself, Mrs. Braswell is new to Gardner.  We both feel very fortunate to be a part of this wonderful family at Gardner!
