Welcome to Gardner's Special Education Department. I am Julie Redifer the
Special Education Designee. My responsibilities as Designee are to facilitate
special services for our school. I assist our teachers with their paper work,
schedule parent conferences, and help in the classrooms as needed. I also am
the Indirect Consultant for some of our students. I provide one-on-one
consulting services with individual students who are having a bad day and need
leave the classroom for extra attention. We are very proud of our resource
services. Our resource teachers are Rebecca Dickinson (3rd, 4th & 5th grades)
and Missie Bell (K , 1st,& 2nd grades). We are exited about a new member for
our department. Her name is Linda Turner. She is coming to us from First Step
School. All of their rooms are very bright and cheery with lots of educational
materials that are fun and exciting.
