Writing is a major part of each week, with weekly writing prompts. Skills are taught to enhance each child's creativity and to produce skilled writers. Writing Wizards are posted each month in the hallway of the main building.
Students are introduced to a wide variety of books through Literacy Lab. Groups of students participate in Literacy Group discussions to enhance comprehension of the written text.
There are so many opportunities for students in the Fifth Grade. If students are willing to accept the challenge, they can excel beyond their wildest dreams.
