The Wedding Day

        On July 3, 2007, it was my daddy’s wedding day.  To me it was the happiest day of my life, but at the same time I was nervous…so nervous!  I just went to my dad for some help and he said, “Just calm down.  This is a good day and everything is going to be alright.”  I just went with his word because after all…he is my dad. 

        The wedding started at 6:00.  The colors were blue and white.  My dad wore a white tuxedo and the bride wore a pearl dress.  For the wedding, I was the Junior Bridesmaid and London was too.  Tia was the Bridesmaid.  My aunt was the Maid of Honor.  Melvin was the Ring Bearer.  My two brothers, D and Eddie Jr. (EJ) were the ushers, and my dad’s friend, Pop’s, was the Best Man.  After the wedding was over, we went to my Aunt Willabee’s house and had a cookout.  It was the best time I ever had!
